Illustrates the phrase "Trail Of The Ojibway" in the language of Anishinaabemowin. Very honoured to tell this story of Aboriginal heritage through my Amoeba Type.

I love film as a medium of storytelling and emotional conveyance. The following are illustrations depicting five films in their most personally resonant ways. Each piece is constrained to a limited colour palette and each film chosen demonstrates not only a different facet of my skill set but different insights into topics of melancholy, fear and redemption.

Illustrations completed within an advocacy campaign for the TransLife Center. Completed in collaboration with Firebelly Design for Camp Firebelly 2014.

The TransLife Center asked the team to create a multi-faceted campaign to raise awareness towards discrimination of the transgender community. The campaign is particularly targeted at transgender women of color offering them hope and information leading them to the safety and resources available at the TLC.

Depicts The Westward Ho, a historical and mysterious building in downtown Phoenix that is in a state of transition. I was honoured to depict the luxury hotel in a proposed glorious state, indicating a new chapter for the institution. 

I’m also grateful to have been given the chance to offer some of my thoughts and background into the creative process in their Contributor page. 

My contribution to LOCUS Zine Issue 004, a seasonal collection of illustrations from various artists around North America. This issue's theme was simply, "Green".

The Chinese character － 拆 means “to tear down” and became a vilified symbol often painted on traditional buildings that would be imminently demolished. Ironically, as China rebuilds its infrastructure, many buildings are inhabitable due to crippling living costs.

Out of the 95 billion instant noodles packages consumed worldwide, China accounts for almost half at 42 billion annually. Despite the nation being rich with culinary staples and exquisite cuisine, many of its citizens have chosen instantaneous options out of convenience and empty wallets.

Pigeon racing has become a revered pastime in modern China for the elite and mega-rich. Birds are purchased for hundreds of thousands of dollars, trained and raced in tightly-controlled clubs with prizes in the millions. Evidently, a bird typically despised in the West has become a rich man’s golden symbol of prosperity in China.

Much of the propaganda in China during the Cultural Revolution promised prosperity and progress for the working class and the ideals of Communism. Today, the working class continue to struggle with the historical upholding of these ideals and the promises that were never met.
